Terms of Service

Last updated · August 8, 2026

These terms govern your use of OpsMove, the operations software for moving companies available at app.opsmove.com. By creating an account you agree to them. They are written to be read — if something here is unclear, write to us and we will explain it plainly.

1. Who we are

OpsMove (“OpsMove”, “we”, “us”) is operated from Quebec, Canada. You can reach a human at info@opsmove.com at any hour.

2. Your account

You need an account to use OpsMove. The first account created for a company is its owner; the owner can invite additional users and set their role. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for what the people you invite do with their access.

You must give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your billing email current — it is where receipts and payment-failure notices go.

One company, one workspace. Your company's data is isolated from every other company on OpsMove at the database level. We do not merge, compare or pool it.

3. What you pay

OpsMove is a paid subscription. There is no free tier and no free trial. The published price is $100 CAD per month per company (or $1,000 CAD per year), which includes the first login, plus $25 CAD per month ($250 CAD per year) for each additional login.

A billable login is an account that can sign in to app.opsmove.com. Your movers are not billable: the crew portal and the customer confirmation page authenticate with single-use links, not accounts, and no number of them changes your bill.

Prices are exclusive of tax. GST and QST are calculated and added at checkout. Payment is by credit card, processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.

Adding a login mid-period is charged prorated for the remainder of that period. Removing one credits the remainder against your next invoice. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.

4. If a payment fails

Cards expire and banks decline. If a payment fails we do not lock you out on the spot: your card is retried automatically over roughly two weeks, and for the first 7 days after the failure nothing changes except a banner asking you to update your card.

After that grace period your account becomes read-only — you can still open, read, print and export everything, but changes cannot be saved. If the payment is still unresolved after roughly 14 days, access is suspended until the balance is settled. Your data is not deleted at any point in this process.

5. Cancelling

You can cancel at any time from Settings → Billing, without contacting us. Access continues to the end of the period you have already paid for; we do not pro-rate a refund for the unused remainder (see the Refund Policy for the exceptions).

After cancellation we keep your data for 60 days so you can come back or export it, and CSV and XLSX export of every table stays available throughout that window. After 60 days we may delete it permanently. If you want it deleted sooner, ask and we will do it.

6. Your data is yours

You own the data you put into OpsMove — your clients, jobs, employees, trucks, financial records and documents. We store and process it to provide the service and for nothing else. We do not sell it, rent it, or use it to train models.

You can export it at any time, in CSV or XLSX, without asking us. If you want a full copy of everything at once, ask and we will produce it.

7. What we ask of you

Do not use OpsMove to break the law, to store other people's data you have no right to hold, to attempt to reach another company's workspace, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the service. Do not resell access to it.

You are responsible for the legality of what you record — including that you have the right to hold your employees' and customers' personal information, and that what you charge and remit in tax is correct. OpsMove calculates from the rates you configure; it is not a substitute for an accountant.

8. Availability, changes and support

We aim to keep OpsMove available continuously and we do not schedule downtime during business hours in Eastern Time. We cannot promise it will never be unavailable — no one honestly can — and we do not offer a contractual uptime credit at this price point.

Support is included with every subscription: live by phone or text around the clock for urgent problems, and by email or message with an answer by the next morning otherwise, in French or English.

We improve the product continuously and features change. We will not remove a capability you depend on without telling you first. If we make a change to these terms that materially affects you, we will email you at least 30 days before it takes effect.

9. Liability

OpsMove is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — lost profit, lost business, or the cost of a job that went wrong. Keep your own records of anything you cannot afford to lose; our backups are for our benefit as well as yours, but they are not a substitute for your own bookkeeping.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Quebec law, including for gross negligence or intentional fault.

10. Ending it from our side

We can suspend or close an account that does not pay, that breaks section 7, or that we are legally required to close. Except where the law or an ongoing investigation prevents it, we will tell you why and give you the chance to export your data first.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of the judicial district of Montreal.
